Home/Services/Project Aftercare

We finish what we start,
and stand behind it.

As a plaster ceiling contractor, our reputation is built on turning up, finishing on schedule, and staying reachable after handover — not disappearing the way some partition and ceiling contractors do once payment clears.

01On-Time Completion

A finish date that doesn't move.

Timelines are agreed upfront and communicated at every stage, with a formal walkthrough at completion so nothing about the handover is left as a verbal promise.

  • On-time project handoverClear timelines agreed upfront and communicated at every stage of the job, so handover date isn’t a moving target.
  • Formal handover walkthroughA joint walkthrough with you at completion, noting any snags before they’re signed off rather than discovered weeks later.
  • Documented warranty termsWhat’s covered, for how long, and what counts as normal settlement versus a workmanship defect — set out clearly at handover, not left ambiguous.

02Post-Installation Support

Still reachable, long after the invoice is settled.

Hairline settlement cracks and minor snags are normal in the months after installation — what actually matters is whether your contractor still picks up the phone when they appear.

  • Post-installation touch-upsWe return to address hairline settlement cracks, minor joint lines or small snags that surface in the weeks after handover.
  • A direct line to your contractorSpeak to the team who actually did the work, not a call centre or a different subcontractor sent to "handle" your issue.
  • Scheduled follow-up visitA check-in visit some weeks after handover, rather than waiting for you to notice and report a problem yourself.

Why Aftercare Matters

Where aftercare
earns its keep.

Plaster and partition work settles into a building over the following months — this is where a contractor's aftercare either shows up, or doesn't.

01
Hairline cracks appear after a few monthsMinor settlement cracking at joints is normal in the first few months after installation and is typically covered by a follow-up touch-up visit.
02
A previous contractor has gone unreachableWe regularly get called in to assess and fix ceiling or partition issues left behind by a contractor who no longer responds after final payment.
03
You’re handing the property to a tenant or buyerA documented handover and warranty record gives you something concrete to point to if a ceiling or partition issue is raised later by a new occupant.
04
Your renovation happened in phasesMulti-phase renovations need a contractor who stays reachable across the whole project, not one who considers the job done after the first phase.
05
You’re in a humidity-prone or top-floor unitUnits more exposed to heat and moisture cycling benefit from a scheduled follow-up check, since minor movement shows up faster than in a shaded, lower-floor unit.
How Aftercare Works

From handover
to follow-up.

Aftercare runs on a simple, predictable schedule rather than an open-ended promise.

01

Handover Walkthrough

We walk the completed job with you, note any snags, and agree what’s outstanding before final sign-off.

02

Snag Resolution

Any outstanding items from the walkthrough are scheduled and closed out within an agreed short window.

03

Scheduled Touch-Up Visit

A follow-up visit some weeks after handover to address any settlement cracking or minor issues that have since appeared.

04

Ongoing Support Line

A direct contact for anything that comes up after the formal aftercare period, rather than a hard cut-off.

Aftercare Coverage

What's covered,
and for how long.

Coverage terms are agreed at handover and put in writing, not left as a verbal promise.

01
Hairline settlement cracksMinor cracking along board joints in the months after installation is covered under standard aftercare touch-ups.
02
Joint line and skim coat defectsAny joint line becoming visible through paint, or skim coat issues traced to workmanship, are addressed at no extra cost within the warranty period.
03
Fixture and fitting snagsWhere a cove light, downlight housing or partition fixture wasn’t seated correctly at handover, we return to correct it.
04
What isn’t coveredDamage from separate renovation work, structural building movement unrelated to our installation, or normal wear from cleaning are outside standard aftercare scope.
05
Extended check-in visitsFor larger commercial projects, a scheduled longer-term check-in beyond the standard aftercare window can be arranged on request.
Where We Work

Aftercare support,
near you.

Aftercare visits are scheduled the same way as the original installation — on-site, across the Klang Valley.

Kuala Lumpur

Condo aftercare visits are coordinated around building management access hours, the same as the original installation.

Selangor

Landed home aftercare across Selangor is typically a quick single-visit touch-up a few months after handover.

Puchong

Puchong renovation projects, often multi-room, get a single coordinated aftercare visit covering all rooms at once.

Shah Alam

Commercial aftercare in Shah Alam’s office and retail units is scheduled outside business hours where needed.

Kepong

Older Kepong properties are checked with settlement movement in mind, given the age of surrounding structural elements.

Common Questions

Aftercare
questions, answered.

Standard aftercare — the handover walkthrough, snag resolution and one scheduled touch-up visit — is included in every project. Extended or additional visits beyond the standard window can be arranged separately.
